I just don't get why everyone is pining over the buff to Ether Renewal? And care bear crap? Maybe I should translate what I said to come across how it was meant to: "STFU with your whining and enjoy the ******* game".

Things such as that are bad. They are not what this game's intentional design was. At least ER makes you structure a build.

And besides, without people commenting on the game the game can't improve. Take it to riverside.

how can we enjoy a game that is so broken because of 2 or 3 skills. i dont use any of them anymore and now refuse to get into group that do. like shadowform get in a group with the guy can do it solo. i dont need the virtual cash im play for enjoyment and i get my enjoyment out of good teamwork and people who know the game. and yes these skills have seriously made me think about leaving guuild wars after 3 plus years

My only gripe with [ether renewal] is that now elementalists have a stupidly overpowered skill, and other professions are kinda left in the dust, since ER can all but replace a healing monk.

I would change it so that it only affects spells that don't target allies.

As far as offense goes, it's not broken. So what if E's can spam offensive spells without worry of energy? Most E spells deal crap damage, have long cast time, or have long recharge. While some deal good damage, cast quick, and don't have long recharge, they're still elemental based and must hit a group of low armored enemies for it to deal high damage.

Even when going ER with 2ndary caster profession for damage, there isn't much room for broken damage deailng.

IMO, the only time it's broken is when you can spam it to constantly heal for insane amounts of HP.

This skill is the source of power for high energy spam builds.
And killing this skill won't kill Eles.

However, at least you have to put some thought into this. Fix Ursan, then we talk.
